Sylvie Nogaki, owner of SylvieCooks, studied cuisine and pastry at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu in Paris before beginning her personal chef service in 2011. She specializes in dinner parties and private receptions and excels at creating dishes that are elegant, delicious and beautifully presented.
The co-founder of one of the nation’s first organic soy foods companies, Sylvie is dedicated to finding the finest and freshest ingredients and to supporting local growers, especially those who grow organically or use sustainable farming practices. Her menus employ the authentic, natural flavors found in cuisines around the world.
In addition to studying in France, Sylvie studied Thai cooking in Chiang Mai, Thailand and has continued her culinary education since returning from France with instruction in various specialties and ethnic cuisines. Global travel also influences her cuisine – Sylvie has traveled to more than 40 foreign countries and, in addition to living in Paris and Southern France, has resided in Honolulu and Tokyo.
These experiences have contributed to a cuisine that has won rave reviews from her clients.
